CM Joins the Women's Month Celebration

A strong woman knows she has strength enough for the journey, but a woman of strength knows it is in the journey where she will become strong.

The College of Management celebrated Women's Month by having purple Wednesdays and attending the Women's Month Celebration at the Covered Gym of CapSU Pontevedra.

Women play various roles in our lives. They can be daughters, siblings, mothers, aunts and many others. Sometimes, they play it all at the same time. Gradually, the society has embraced the fact that women can do multiple things. Several societal barriers may it be in education, career, leadership, etc. have already been torn down by women. Yet, some women are still victims of violence and abuse.

The month of March reminds us that women are no longer second-class citizens. They can rise up their ladder, they can defend themselves and they can protect their loved ones. If you are a woman, know that a billion women are behind you. Speak up. Rise up. You can be a hero. You are a hero.
