VCO Making at CapSU Pontevedra

Dubbed as the "Tree of Life", coconut palm has always been part of every Capisnon's life. It offers nutritional benefits from its roots, leaves, and most of all, its coconut. A coconut is the edible fruit of the coconut palm. Coconut flesh is high in fat and can be dried or eaten fresh or processed into coconut milk or coconut oil.

Yet, its benefits do not stop with eating the fruit itself because the famed Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) has been tested and proven to provide health benefits such as: antimicrobial effects, boost skin health, hair protection, etc.

VCO Making requires patience and utmost preciseness. The best VCO can be made out of an 11-month old coconut. The faculty and staff of the College of Management has attended a two-day training for VCO Making. And, we are now set to produce the CapSU Pontevedra Virgin Coconut Oil.
