With the leadership of the current Extension Coordinator of the College of Management, Prof. John Keneth Ada, we bring you Project TINGOB.

Project TINGob (Altogether) - an extension project under the MANGGAD (Management of Assets and Natural Resources for Good Governance And Development) program of the College of Management. It envisions to bring the different sectors in the community altogether (Tingob) towards progress. The college is recognizing the importance of a balance development among people, socio-civic organizations, business institutions and the local government for inclusive growth.

Project TINGob (Altogether) – TURISMO, INSTITUSYON, NEGOSYO kag GobYERNO. The umbrella program of the College of Management, Extension Department. The aim of the program is to give extension activities to the community utilizing the expertise of the different programs within the college in collaboration and partnership with other agencies.

T is for TURISMO – aims to educate the community on the importance of tourism and the people in general as the main component of the society. It will focus on the awareness and improvement on people’s health, nutrition, personality development, and well-being and with emphasis on environmental concerns. The program will utilize the expertise of the BS in Hospitality Management Faculty and staff with the involvement of their students.

The segment will be handled by the experts in the BS in Business Administration program. By that, people from marginalized sectors will have an access to livelihood programs that later on can uplift their standard of living.

Gob is for GOBYERNO – aims to promote partnership with the respective Local Government Units in implementing the program. The activities to be done will be of proper coordination with the LGUs as they are the direct authority on their respective constituents and the appropriate agency that knows the needs and wants of the community especially in identifying the beneficiaries or participants. Moreover, the LGU itself will be provided with seminars and trainings and even workshops related to governance to efficiently serve their constituents.  The topics will mostly of legal in nature and so this will be provided or facilitated by students and faculties of the graduate programs of the college – the Master in Public Administration and the Doctor of Public Administration.
